One project measures the #EEG dynamics of naturalistic braille reading. The other explores artificial ultrasonic #echolocation for blind and low-vision travelers. @haydeegl.bsky.social presented blind experts and sighted novices with click trains of varying length, asking them to lateralize the echoes. Psychophysics and EEG tracked evidence accumulation (or lack thereof) successive clicks, independent of low-level acoustics or repetition suppression.
