You are going to love what Milestone is doing with Screamer in that case.

Once again the Grammys category for best score for a video game is an insane selection of picks, missing at least 1 very obvious pick

He only went and did it. Feels crazy to have an example we can all point to rather than pleading to everyone that this kind of politics works.

I truly cannot think of something less made for the audience than a Borderlands crossover for a realistic golf game.

Finally saw The Long Walk and David Jonsson might be the best actor of this generation. Just incredible in everything.

OMG it finally happened. In reality once they tested the waters there was no going back but to see a full reversal on SBMM is crazy. What a time to be alive.

Thinking about how this is probably my favourite boss fight in any game ever. From Software hasn't ever reached this level of orchestrated cinematic action since.

That bottom bullet point equates to "Do free shit for our country and maybe we'll let you stay, but we may not".

For the Epic Games Store, I put together a breakdown of the kart and Gadget builds in Sonic Racing Crossworlds, how to unlock the Master Plate, earn Donpa Tickets fast, and the best way to combine vehicle parts and gadgets to create an impressive ride:

Over the last few weeks I have played a good chunk of Bloodlines 2 and it feels like a victim of its own development struggles. It's a robust package, but so much from what I have seen underdelivers, feels half-baked, or is forgettable. My impressions:

Anyway, guess I'll be voting Green Party from now on which is looking a whole lot more promising than whatever this has become.

Don't even remember it coming out. Anyway, point not entirely disproven 😅

I missed this go up, but for Space I previewed Directive 8020 at Gamescom and came away impressed by how next-gen it felt, but quite concerned about whether Supermassive is biting off more than it can chew, as not everything here worked. My preview:

Randy Pitchford "posting through it" as players complain about Borderlands 4's PC performance is incredible. 20 tweets in less than 6 hours.

One of the biggest surprises at Gamescom was World of Tanks spinoff: Heat. It's a mix of Twisted Metal, Destruction AllStars, Battlefield, and Call of Duty and I had a blast. It's nothing like World of Tanks and that's what makes it brilliant. My preview:

Clocking in at around 10K-11K words and 200 images, the first two areas of Hollow Knight: Silksong's walkthrough on IGN are now complete. They are meticulously detailed pages I have spent a lot of time writing up, full of secrets:

For @techradar.com I sat down with Miles Leslie from @treyarch.com and Natalie Pohorski from @ravensoftware.com to discuss Black Ops 7's campaign, development cycle, embracing the madness of the series and the bold choice to add an "endgame". A lot packed in here:

I got given a physical review copy disk of 11-11 Memories Retold back when I first started in the business in 2018. First and only time I had one.

In an age where people are driven far more by content made by figureheads who specialise in topics, I find it fascinating that more outlets haven't adopted The Verge's newsletter formats, especially in entertainment/gaming. Then again, nowhere keeps any writers/journos around long enough these days.

Mentally preparing myself to write a walkthrough of a game no one has played new content for in like 6 years. Anyway I'm writing the @ign.com walkthrough of Hollow Knight: Silksong, so take a look later in the week if you need some help!

At Gamescom I saw 30ish minutes of 007: First Light gameplay and was amazed by how the core of Hitman's flexible and open gameplay has been meshed with the bombastic setpieces of Uncharted to create what is sure to be a cinematic thrill ride. My full impressions:
