lol oh some thought having a backbone would hurt their ability to get grants or tenure, and now they out here freezing EVERYONE'S FUNDS.
Was the apolitical cosplay worth it? I imagine that many are now realizing it's not. Not fighting then is why the fight is harder now.

The point is this:
Scientists are accused of being partisan. I say embrace it.
We're not lying for political reasons. We are defending science as a way of knowing, and as a humanitarian endeavor to help even those groups that are disenfranchised by people in power. If that's partisan so be it.
