It’s much more complicated than that for people in the service. They’re now torn between whether to follow the orders issued from the chain of command or not. And not following those orders has real consequences.

What I learned from my time in the military was that the application of force still has to be within international law/Geneva conventions ect.

Imminence of threat and a proportional use of force matter greatly.

What Trump is proposing Is illegal both domestically and internationally.

If a president does that with no clear and present danger to the national security of the United States and also, doesn’t get authorization from Congress to do so, then yes, he should face arrest and prosecution.

In fact- the Epstein Russia (and Israel) connection appears to have been a massive (banking/money laundering/influence) operation. It’s vital we get to the bottom of it and whoever was involved is brought to justice. Party affiliation is irrelevant.
