I just don’t want her to think of my potential pet as gross or dirty, so if anyone has any advice to help show her they aren’t that please reply with them ^^

It’s not mean spirited but it just bothers be because I know they are very clean and intelligent birds.
It’s only me moving in with my relatives for a longer time, my parents are going to keep traveling within the area so they won’t be around as much for it to be much of a problem (3)

And I was thinking of adopting a pet, specifically a pigeon as they are quiet compared to other birds and the adoption prices are fairly cheap in my area, however whenever I bring the idea up to my mother she gets grossed out and says they are filthy sky rats or some variation of that.
