📣 Yesterday, I spoke in the House of Commons on the Government’s proposal for English devolution, to reorganise local government with ‘unitary authorities’.

I welcome further devolution, but strongly criticise the Government’s efforts to impose unelected and unaccountable policymakers.

🌱 Chalk streams are important parts of our biodiversity - but they're under threat from climate change.

📢 Last week, I raised this in parliament, urging the government to make time for a debate on how to protect our precious chalk streams and successfully secured an update from the Minister.
