Yeah it takes reminders not to fall back into traditional ways sometimes, especially when stuff gets stressful.
We’ve worked incredibly hard to shift to this kind of “we’re a team” parenting, and literally the only “negative” result is now our 1st kid struggles to tolerate adults who don’t treat her as fully human. 🤷♀️
