It truly was an honor to spend yesterday with the community of Cheshire Academy. They selected “Toward Antarctica” for their all school read.
Reading something together, using it as a way to engage commonalities and differences behind responses, is really important work these days.

Working on copy editing “SOFAR” — that final pass. Always terrifying because while I’m good at finding others’ typos I am often blind to my own (metaphor, anyone???). Special thanks to friends who helped me see my mistakes…..

Sunset last night sitting in the shelter just beyond the howling winds I’d ducked away from. Metaphor? (Also: lucky to have the gift of this light, the ability to sometimes duck away.)
