I’ve debated with my husband that she may not have gotten the backlash if they had just let her keep her own complexion. Kind of how they did MLK and Corretta with Jeffrey Wright and Carmen Ejogo in Boycott. I don’t remember much fuss about casting them. I am happy she won as well. And Kieran.
