The great battle between dog and bed-cushion rages on.

In terrible wars such as these, there are no victors.

Happy Halloween!

If you have to be in a car, drive safely out there tonight, folks.

Lots of kids and lions will be roaming the streets.

Presenting .... SUPER DOG!

Faster than a speeding ball! More powerful than a squeaker-toy! Able to leap medium-sized logs in a single bound!

First the NY Times and now featured for being CANCELLED in the Harvard magazine.

Feels like I should have at least been able to tell some inappropriate jokes to get this far...

Me too!

Noting this doesn't include sub awards. My colleague at UCSD lost an additional $500k from our $1.5M cancelled grant (only reported as 1M here).

& my student's cancelled grf is buried in there.

Still, exciting to be in the NYT. I wonder if I should add this to my CV for my tenure case. 🙄

Taking a brief break from emergency meetings to walk in the woods behind my house.

Daisy reminds me to appreciate the little things.

Or in this case, a big thing ... hello new stick!

After several rounds, to the granting agency that sent me this email, with the following subject line:
"Your application has moved to the next stage"

Well done.

That is some Grade 'A' level trolling.

You got me.
