Exactly, and like you said below could be in a bad way. I can't imagine they could stomach his safe return followed by administration of due process. I can't imagine his return in a way that would be seen as a win for proponents of due process and justice.

The Jesus part is absolutely a belief held by "Messianic Jews" (aka ethnically Jewish converts to Christianity).

Confused about the "why" for this. Shutting down Biden's initiative doesn't seem adequate. Plenty of dark possibilities, probably dumb to even speculate though, nothing makes sense.

Absolutely many are true believers. And many others are influenced enough to think of the disinformation as potentially valid counterpoints to real facts. And political leaders, true believers or not, have no reason to jettison it in power, no penalty so far.
