My hope is that now any bill passed to reopen the government will mandate the rehiring of those workers fired since the shutdown and those workers given the back pay they would have earned if they had not been terminated.

My hope is that any legislation passed to reopen the government now must include the reinstatement of those fired federal employees and guaranteeing their back pay during the shutdown.
