Good news everybody, I have a Patreon! Apparently, they're going to pump up the fee from 8% to 10% unless you register by August 4th or something, so it couldn't hurt to get one going sooner rather than later! Also, please visit my Patron and pay me $3/month. patreon.com/Eberwrites

The market has spoken! My next novel is going to be litRPG. I’ll be channeling my inner 16 year old
for this one.

The sheer number of cats in my timeline is concerning

As much as I want to market my book, I really really don't want to have to make TikTok videos

I've had multiple authors, seemingly real (I see books connected to their names), chat me up and pitch a marketing company to me. They go radio silent the moment I ask if they are an LLM. Either I'm rude, or they're robots.

Sold my first two ebooks! Still learning the KDP system and tweaking marketing, cover images, etc. Also, I'll need to get the print version going ASAP. www.amazon.com/dp/B0FCG2W5FB

Any good writer's discords out there? I have maybe 5 followers, so don't hesitate to chime in, otherwise it'll be crickets.

I've seen lots of aspiring writers getting ripped to shreds on various social media apparatuses for using AI on their cover art or, more devastatingly, in their writing. Beware!

What am I even supposed to post on this thing? Hi everybody, I'm writing today. Just like yesterday. My kids turn every hug into a headlock. Have a great day!

I'm in the middle of the final reread of my novel. At this point, I've read this book dozens of times. Despite that, I'm loving every second of it. What a great book. I'm so excited to get this thing out there

I think I'll be self-publishing this new novel of mine. I suspect that word of mouth, social proof, and serendipity play such a big role in getting readers that I'd like to just have something to show people, even if it's a Kindle E-book or print on demand thing. Any cover artists out there?

Somebody should ignite the Pinch/EMP they used in Oceans-11 to take down the internet. I think we'd all be better off for it.

I might be tricked into thinking an AI written novel was written by a human, but I'm 100% sure that I'd never read an AI novel and think it was good.

Busy following as many literary people as I can find! Any recommendations are welcome. Right now I have one follower, the author of Mickey7 (great book!). Posting here for posterity.
