It's an "eat a cupcake for breakfast" kind of day.

One of the only fun projects I've been able to finish in the last six months.

One step closer to answering the age old question: Can authors do whatever they want? Or do their characters really take over?

One of my favorite scenes in the #LOTR films is when Theoden, on the verge of desperate battle, when the world feels like it's ending takes a moment to speak life and hope over his niece.

Sometimes that's what I really need to hear from the generation from before me.

There is no power on earth for authors like word of mouth. Especially with the death of Twitter, so many of us have lost huge chunks of our reach. So please, if you love a book, tell your friends and talk it up on your social media. No voice is too small, every single word counts. And thank you!

Okay, so my sister has roped me into watching The Long Ballad in my (rare) free time. Only five episodes in, but I'm really enjoying it!

On this Oct 24th, I'd like to shoutout to the people who maybe don't go on the quests themselves or fight the wars, but create places of emotional and physical safety for the weary and wounded to come home to.

My roommate and I have been slowly rewatching the first season of Once Upon a Time. It's entertaining, but sometimes also painful how close they came to doing something amazing with each story, but so often settled for emotional manipulation instead of real substance.

@gamwyn.bsky.social thanks for the follow! Been meaning to reach out and tell you that I read Echo North and Into the Heartless Woods recently and I think you are a phenomenal author. Easily some of the best reads of the last ten years for me.
