I use foam squares that my daughter used to play on when she was a toddler, these are available in toy stores and often much cheaper than the ones sold as blocking mats 😊 the only downside is that they are EXTREMELY colourful! 😅

Or they are just loved and worn! ❤️❤️❤️ I like the afterthought heel construction as I can just unravel and do a new heel when needed.

Knit for the season you want to wear it, not the season you’re in! But I know the feeling, I should cast on light cotton and linen and the moment but am knee deep in stranded wool projects that will have to wait 6 months to be worn when they’re done 😅

It’s one of my favourite patterns! I made one in black for myself and it’s been my staple party sweater for the winter months 😊
