Did you look at the landing page to make sure someone wasn't adding Direct as UTM parameters?

Employment information is considered PII. PII is the combination of information which can identify a person and not just one data point.

Google had improved GA4 in the first year. Still a ways to go, but it is now usable. My biggest problem is the UI and non obvious features. However, I didn't experience the slowness during Black Friday and Cyber Monday which my company had every year with GA3.
