Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves

Games shouldn't always be photo realistic down to earth experiences. I like games that aren't afraid to be over the top and fantastical and this is why I love the Sly series with Sly 3 being my favourite.

A heist style platformer game, it is very charming as a game.

Again, no rule saying video games only!

This is the RPG that spoke to me. Star Wars but D&D? Sign me up! At least that's breaking it down to it's basics, but I love these 3 game lines and encourage anyone who is a Star Wars fan and into Table top Roleplaying Games to give them a try!

X-Wing: Second Edition

Never said anything about it being video games only!

I love this miniatures game, the mini's come pre-painted and I've had a wonderful time playing the game. You build squads of ships with upgrades and battle it out with your opponent.

Batman Arkham Knight
Everyone talks about Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and those games are great, but I do have a soft spot for Arkham Knight (and Arkham Origins). I always love to come back to this game, nothing beats bombing around in the Batmobile.

Hitman: World of Assassination

I love this series because you can play it 100% straight as a professional killer who kills targets with a sniper rifle...or you can use an exploding rubber duck to cause one target to ragdoll over a ledge and fall on another target, killing them both.

Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Metroidvanias are one of my favourite genres of games that perfectly cater to me: Exploration focused. Ability gating. Abilities that aid traversal. Fantastic setting. Compelling story.

While I like both namesakes, this is the one that I always think about.

For my second like, I'm going to go with a game that means a lot to me personally.

Star Wars Squadrons is a squadron based combat game where you play as a pilot in the Rebel Alliance or the Galactic Empire, generally in 5 v 5 battles.

Going for a deep cut from my childhood.

Hype: The Time Quest. A playmobile game with great charm. You play as a knight thrown back in time trying to return to his own era and defeat his nemesis.

While an easy game, it's charm is seeing the world evolve through the eras. Variety of UK accents too.
