We also worked up a graphic to easily visualize where families w/ kids are staying across NYC shelters.

The city has yet to seek state permission to issue 60 day notices to families in DHS shelters. That's where most families currently are: twitter.com/emma_a_whitf...

I liked this Doug Turetsky joint on social housing bills @ the City Council. He wonders what the bills might have done for one of NYC's first big apartment complexes, vacant since '07.

As it stands, this could end up a hotel w/ 20 affordable apartments: citylimits.org/2023/10/04/s...
