And reactionaries in the USA (the republicon party) has been helping Putin spread his disinfo ever since. The nexus between Russia, its oligarchs, and the republicon party, and its oligarchs, is still a largely untold story. They are in league with each other, imo, to end democracy around the globe.

Me too. I only see stories posted on Xitter when someone links to them. And I feel kinda gross when I do click on those links.

To me ICE is a federalized KKK. I don't doubt extra-judicial executions have already been done, either here or in one of the foreign concentration camps set up by the Trump admin. Things may get pretty dark by the time summer and the 2026 elections roll around.

Ok, I hadn't heard that. All I had heard was Johnson saying the senate should amend it, and pundits saying it could get delayed in the senate. I think whatever gets released now will be scrubbed of any reference to Trump or other republicons. But I also think maybe it's becoming an avalanche.

I just looked it up and sure enough, Schumer did get the unanimous consent to pass the house bill to release the files. Why isn't this bigger news? What am I missing?

When has being un-prepared and incompetent ever slowed down republicon plans? They'll make huge mess of it, blame everyone else, give out fat contracts to their unqualified donors to do a half-assed job preparing the facilities, take a bunch of bribes, and at the end call it a job well done.

Absolutely. Why would anyone risk visiting the USA at this time? Especially when the head of Homeland Security is saying their presence is barely tolerated, and they should get the 'eff out as soon as the games are over? What a nightmare!

Agreed. This isn't your father's republican party. Maybe Harry would have been played just as badly as Schumer et al have been. But, do they really think appeasing Trump and the fascist republicon party is good for the country, or even good politics?! I really don't get it. Dems just seem so weak.

On some level I think they just want to hurt people. To break people so they don't ever complain and expect anything from government. They want people poor and desperate and afraid and fighting each other for whatever scraps they can find.
