Be prosocial and proactive. You will be surprised how many match your compassion, consideration, and empathy. Dont be or feel forced to endure your situation because of tradition. Tradition doesn’t supersede ones health. Which includes mental health.

That’s part of life. Nothing to be upset about. There are plenty of people in this country who feel the same and want to connect to like minded individuals. Way more than you think. Don’t isolate yourself because you’re surrounded by idiots.
