Soundtrack album for "Looking For Mr. Goodbar" (1977), which has a top notch @vinsyn.bsky.social 4k release I've been putting off watching until I listened to the music of the film by itself. Although granted, The O'Jays song "Back Stabbers" is certainly a favorite. Love the Philly soul sound.

Something about the organ & piano sounds on "Albert's House" (1969) by Chet Baker. Also, this might be the worst studio album for his playing. Not an expert on Baker or jazz. But this is a truly fascinating album, Baker's first album post broken embouchure & having to relearn his instruments. 1/2

Fall Of Franco goes back to noir land with "Black Boots, Leather Whips" (1983). Interestingly the first movie in this series, "Death Whistles The Blues" (1964), also had a character called Al Pereira. Although in that film Pereira was played by Conrado San Martín. Here, Antonio Mayans is Al Pereira.
