In Putney to see……..

Lambrini Girls ending last night’s gig at Electric Brixton standing (albeit awkwardly) on the bar at the back! A great gig, loads of political anger and kick back - basically, just what the doctor ordered 😁👍

At Rough Trade East to see Miki Berenyi and band (mb3) at the launch event for their debut album, released today! 😁

Been to the cinema this evening to finally see ‘Becoming Led Zeppelin’. Loved it! Haven’t listened to any LZ for a while so was great to hear them again, and hear Plant, Page and Jones talk about their individual and collective musical histories up to the point they made the second album. Top stuff.

Earlier tonight I went into London town to see the fabulous @josienneclarke.com singing a set of songs written by the legendary Sandy Denny. Josienne’s renditions were superb, and it was lovely to hear her talk about how she felt about Sandy and how brilliant the songs are. Such a top evening ❤️.

Finally got around to seeing the film Conclave today. Wasn’t totally sure what to expect (though had heard positive things) and it was indeed a good watch 😁👍.

Tonight marks the end of a great month for my gig attendances: Hawklords at the 100 Club earlier in the month, Josienne Clarke at Green Note six days ago and tonight Glen Matlock and his band with Kathy Valentine as support! As you can tell, I’ve got varied tastes……
