My February took an unexpected and annoying turn this afternoon. Tore my calf muscle while working out and will now be on these bad boys for about 4-6 weeks while it heals. Moral of the story: exercise is bad for your health folks!

I’m doing exactly that this year! This is my planned schedule, includes the adult, YA, and MG books plus the audio dramas and factors in this year’s scheduled releases.

Finished my 2nd book of the year: The Last Battle by C. S. Lewis & with that I finished reading The Chronicles of Narnia. I can’t say this was a series I enjoyed much beyond the early books. The Christian allegories were just too much & were even more extreme in this last book. Still glad I read it.

We’re close to the final 24 hours of 2024 so I’m going to make one final big push on my fundraiser. My sister and I both walked 1084 miles this year to raise money for @gutscharityuk.bsky.social Our goal was to raise £1084 but as of Dec 30th we’re stuck at 44% of that.

You know, I have a rule that I don’t buy full priced hardbacks of books I haven’t read yet. I’m a member of several very good libraries so it’s money I don’t need to spend & I can wait for sales & second hand copies. I might not even like the book. #booksky
