If you want to create a portfolio of apps, which you don't intend to monetize, it's best not to publish them in Play store. If Google thinks-even mistakenly-that one of these apps breaks a rule, you could find yourself with your account terminated for life, without being able to create a new one.
If you could whisper one Android dev secret to every junior starting today, what would it be?

EasyJoin doesn’t normally keep the device in “awake state” (“awake” means this: stackoverflow.com/questions/72...).

If you ask if the app is running in the background, the answer is that it is running but since doesn’t keep the device “awake” does not consume a noticeable amount of battery power.

You can search for “@davidpierce.xyz” if you don't want to use the feed someone else created. Right now, though, it's not possible to save a search as a feed--the developers are very active, hopefully they'll add it in a future version.

They could connect the app with the car directly, without having to use their server. But in this case they would not have control over the connection, which allows them to possibly change the terms of use after the sale. I am speaking in general, not just about this automaker.

Could you consider the possibility to mute an account from post's "more" menu?
