That's one of the things I always mention when talking about that game. Our new kit was fantastic, warm day so three sides in white shirts, one in red. The ground looked brilliant.

I seem to remember an Adamson one being after a night game? I remember looking out of the West Stand windows at a protest. Could have been 5pm on a winter Saturday of course.

Well, that's what I thought originally. I did wonder why the stat kept coming up when, as first stated, it didn't apply to us. But maybe I got it wrong at the outset.

I always thought that the first time that stat came out it was quoted that 96% of *promoted* teams that got 8 from the first 5 stayed up. But then the 'promoted' bit got dropped from the repetition.

I was just thinking about this while out on a walk. Last season, it was all about seeing if Leicester and Ipswich would drop points, but now, with a couple more contenders, there are more teams to take points off each other.

Funny isn't it, a couple that we didn't win stick in my mind too. That one you mention, and the 4-5 Liverpool game. Both of them I came out disappointed, but happy I'd seen a great effort and a fabulous atmosphere.
