To be fair, most “technicians” have no clue what they’re doing if the diagnostic doesn’t tell them. So it doesn’t matter what you tell them. The critical thinking piece of being a good mechanic is gone quite frankly.

Meh… my dad is a mechanic. I know how to talk to another mechanic even if I’m just regurgitating what he said. I literally STILL have to get him on the phone or FaceTime and listen in on the conversation to make sure people not on that BS. I’m over 40.
