I just read: Cloud Atlas. The more you dive in and examine each life and story, the more genius shows. But at the same time, I think it needs to be asked if you should even think about it more in detail. Is it ultimately a loosely tied narrative that's too intricate for it's own good?

I just read: The Godfather. I think the most incredible thing about this book is just how humanized the characters are written. You would think a character like Don Corleone would be a larger than life, almost unrealistic character, yet his moments of love, patience, and pride make him feel real.

I just read: Red Rising. This book is like The Hunger Games with the social severity of the Stanford Prison Experiment and I love it. There were so many points where I thought I knew what was coming next, yet it continued to subvert expectations. Sevro is the 🐐

I just read: Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? I really like the themes of religion, empathy, and especially social status with the animals. My only problem is that I wish it was longer. So many plot points concluded so early and I feel a longer steep in some would have made the book perfect.
