I did. & checked her account beforehand. Her role is "engineering" so I describe her as "non-specific" because I don't know her exact role or how (if at all) connected it is to these decisions. Is she part of moderation? execs? legal? PR? Any specific roles who have authority over this?

I feel that if Bluesky wanted to make a strong statement about this to the community that they could trust they should do it on Bluesky. A comment thread on a different platform by a non-specific staff member doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.
