It's like the writers entirely forgot what made the characterization in the first series so strong. The stakes are nonexistent, the plot is barely cohesive, we jump from character to character so frequently no one has room to develop a single OUNCE of depth

I liked Olrox and Mizrak having a secret lovers thing in the first season! Boy did they sure throw away that super fast so they wouldn't have to do anything with that plot until the very end for some fake pull at your heart bullshit!

Annette is a perfectly fine character with a great design, but anytime the show attempts to expand her character even a little bit more than her basic plot, we cut away to a completely different thing entirely like the show was afraid the character development was boring me
