104: Walking Practice by Dolki Min

This short book is the confused/angsty stream of concious of an alien just trying to survive. There is so much gender yet I think it needed a more in-depth translator note in the end to really push what was lost in the translation of it all.

I was like guess here's another idea to jot down in my little notebook.

It's theme song will be like that Charli xcx House song but it'll be more like "I'm goinna die in this...very cursed water park which is no place for a vampire"

I'm really worried that is the case especially because Eddie has a special medicated food. 😬

I'm hoping it's stress because I've been coming and going lately 🤞

I found some stuff to help with itchy relief to see how that goes for him.

I do think this one is a police procedural. I picked it up more for the setting though haha.

I always forget how much I love mystery as a genre and need to stop doing that.

103: The Devil She Knows by Alexandria Bellefleur

The majority of this book really worked for me but the last 75% was a departure from what I loved about the book. Overall, it was a fun romp with a typical "Sell your soul" set-up and you get a bunch of chaotic wishes. This time it's sapphic!

102: Pox Romana: The Plague That Shook the Roman World by Colin Elliot

For those who don't know, I have a science history background and focused a lot on medicine/pandemics so this was a very me read. I don't usually study ancient history but have been returning to my childhood Roman interests.
