Not only does this violate the separation of church and state, but the Treaty of Tripoli, which states the US government is NOT founded on the Christian religion.

Two-state solutions were proposed and shot down (going back as far as the 80s at least). Complicating matters is that GOP supports Israel regardless.
This is ultimately up to the Israelis and Palestinians to fix. There are bad actors on both sides (Netanyahu, Hamas) who do *not* want to see peace.

Well, that’s the thing. Other factors played a part in kneecapping her (misinformation, racism, sexism) but it can’t be denied that a sizable number of people didn’t bother to show up or vote third party, some because of what’s happening in Palestine.

I thought it odd that Palestine would be *the* decisive issue for so many considering the conflict has been going on FOR DECADES. Why did people care all of a sudden, and why did protesters kneecap the very people who were willing to work with them?

True. One of the most virulent forms, IMO, is the one that holds “Freedom for me and none for thee!” as their mantra.
