The attitudes I’m seeing (and where I fall) is not a rose colored glasses view of China.

It’s anger with the US for trying to high road China while being equally guilty and genuine surprise at the interactions and content I’m seeing. It feels like just one more thing our government lied about.

I joined a local social group with the intent to meet new friends and new dates. I met my current man at a brunch event about 3-5 events in.

I also made one good friend and met a solid 5-6 familiar faces that I’ll see and socialize with when I step out with the group.
