30s and trying to get by. They/them, She/her.
I had been planning on getting this at some point, because I do love the SR games, and I think this is a compelling reason to bump it up in the to-play order rather than just getting it for $5 and letting it gather dust for a while. Plus I've got a friend interested in doing co-op

I've seen them twice and they've been a blast each time. A band I will eagerly see again if given the chance.

Everytime a big AP switches off D&D, even if they make a great show with whatever they play, they almost always switch back with some amount of "Were back to D&D!" fanfare to placate the screeching masses that refuse to try something new for even a moment.

That's a great idea though. Trading insults while taking off the old school flight gear, covered in soot from the radial engine, ignoring each other so hard they collide on the way into the actual shower before moving to opposite ends and sneaking glances they think the other doesn't see.

Had not heard of the game before now, but looking more into it and the vibes are perfect for me, sooooo maybe. Although I just got Kill The Music, so I can't buy another game so soon.

Phil is still probably my favorite Magic the Gathering artist. I like Kaja's work too, but Phil did a bunch of goblins that you could immediately tell were his.

I do my duty and recommend them to people I talk to about sci-fi. Not sure I've had any takers yet, but I *try*. Although I usually try to ease them in with Penric, depending on if I think they'd like Fantasy more.

"there are steadily fewer people opposed to universes beyond" yeah cause they've been leaving while sales are propped up by the IPs

"Death means little to us humans"

Also

"I have a human thing called an adrenaline glad"
"Sounds inconvenient, consider having it removed"

We finished last night with The Corbomite Maneuver and I'd happily watch them stare at a cube (then a sphere. Then a grainy transmission that looked a lot like Sexy Squidward) again over watching so many examples of nu-trek.

We're only in s1 at the moment, and sure it's fun to laugh at a 27 year old playing a preteen on the Earth of only children (Miri), but it's also just good to watch. It's so sincere in what it's doing.

I've been hanging out in a weekly discord call with a couple friends that are painting 40k minis while we all watch TOS. It's my first time through it, and I'm very surprised at how good it is. Especially in comparison to most nu-trek I've seen.

I actually liked the new Trigun, but I also think of them as being two different things.

I remember the start of it making me actually worried the first time I installed it. Trying to input the CD key fast enough for that 30 second warning, an experience that can't be replicated by pressing a button on Steam and waiting 2 minutes.

Just reinstalled this last night, and it is absolutely the most iconic screen to me, and the game I have returned to the most over the years.

Also miss the installer. As much as I like super fast download/install, installers are now a lost art I miss a little bit.
