I really really really really hope this works. Holmes can be nasty, and a shakeup to becoming a starter might work better for him

Reminds me of the Severino risk last year, also around the same time of year too. It’s a lukewarm signing for the Mets now but Stearns has cooked in the past, and I have 100% faith in his decisions.

I had a feeling the Mets were going to make an surprise trade for a CF. At his best, he’s probably a bit better and even faster than Bader and Taylor.
Wouldn’t be shocked if he platoons with Taylor, or if they still get an even better CF 👀
