These are my great, great grandparents with the youngest 6 of their 16 children photographed on their farm. I do wonder what they would make of the world today, although they experienced huge changes in their own lives, my great, great granny living to see the end of WW2 well into her 90s.

This years Christmas cake is just out of the oven and cooling, the house smells of spice and brandy, the sun is setting and the log burner is lit, lamps are on and it won’t be long before we close the shutters. I love this time of year when we can just coorie in.
