I was working as a controls and wiring designer while working on a BSEE. When I graduated my department head asked for my transcript to confirm that I had indeed graduated. And I got the promotion. That was the first and only time anyone ever asked for it.

We bought a Honda Odyssey in 2017 when our grandkids came to live with us for a year. In 2021 we decided to get another vehicle. I wanted a Pilot, but after the test drive we got another Odyssey! Even for just the two of us they are very comfortable for a trip.

A huge piece of context here is when those additional vaccines were developed and how many lives have been saved because of them. I got the shingles vaccine because there wasn’t any chickenpox vaccine in 1953… and I saw the misery that my sister and daughter and several colleagues at work were in.

We were in that district until a previous round of redistricting. Now we're in Al Green's district. If the new redistricting maps stick we'll be in some district that reaches all the way up to Lufkin area and over toward Beaumont.
