Sadly, I don't think it garnered the attention it should have! But I was really taken with the idea of who 'gets' to play Juliet - Sophie Duncan's work was v helpful in this too!

About 10 years ago, Storme Toolis and Glen Milner did 'Redefining Juliet' - a short adaptation ft. 3 or 4 disabled actors as Juliet. It was a BBC documentary and then had a run at the Barbican. Don't know if it suits your purposes, but it was v interesting!

About 10 years ago, Storme Toolis and Glen Milner did 'Redefining Juliet' - a short adaptation ft. 3 or 4 disabled actors as Juliet. It was a BBC documentary and then had a run at the Barbican. Don't know if it suits your purposes, but it was v interesting!

She pops up in household records looking after geese, she has a horse, and lots of clothes bought for her! She's also in a painting with Henry, his family, and his fool Will Somer, which I find fascinating!
