TfL's ownership structure often complicates delivery.
Salboy didn’t justify the service charge, they just stated it and the Council agreed that they needn’t bother delivering the social accommodation. It seems the Council isn't really interested in affordable accommodation.

ECDC controls this estate under a 999-year lease with TFL, meaning service charges could impact affordability. At Cluny Mews, Salboy offered 3 affordable flats but set a £11k annual service charge for a studio, making them unaffordable. The council accepted a payment instead.

The comment section is still open on RBKC site so comments will be viewed. The planning process runs for a year. It started Sep 24 so will go on until at least Jul 25
