I have spent the last few years with Tidal. I really like the lossless streaming when you are not on cellular data.

I have the same problem. If the power goes out the whole house battery takes over, but we lose Internet within 5 minutes, because our ISP doesn't believe that they should have to provide access when the power is out. But the cell phone providers do. It is unfortunate I don't have 5G at the house.

I love a Raspberry pi for my music server. It used to be supported by Logitech, now maintained by its users. LMS (Lyrion Music Server) is well supported by the community. piCorePlayer is the variant to run on a RP as both server and client.
