A small acrylic paperweight that contains a piece of old wood from Capt. Cousteau's ship "Calypso". It includes the quote "Calypso! One look at her was all it took to decide that she would become my ship...I will sail with her, she will become my home, my universe..." The paperweight was given to anybody who donated to the upgrade and retrofit of the Calypso circa early 1980's.

Canada is our friend, our ally and even our hero. In 1980, the Canadians secretly sheltered 6 Americans during the Iranian hostage crisis for 79 days before an ingenious escape. Grateful Americans posted billboards facing Canada.

Our relationship with Canada should be treasured, not tariffed.

Beautiful alpine Parker Lake in the High Sierra. The water is so clear every rock below the surface is visible. The granite mountains surrounding seem to go straight up for hundreds of feet capped with patches of snow. Across the lake, the aspen trees are all in yellow mixed with the green pines.
