And I use an IPad because then any book can be a large print book (macular degeneration here). But if you check out most people in settings where they could be reading books, the scrolling rate suggests they aren’t.

That’s true and I use my IPad for books but I bet a survey would show it’s not the most common use of the phones that the parents are holding

How many adults do you see reading in places like airports and doctor’s offices? They are all on phones. Children learn what they see.

AI is a huge part of environmental racism and they're building data centers in low income areas and poc areas. It is actively destroying the environment. Stop using it. Be creative and make your things on your own

I get what he’s saying and I agree, but when I want black coffee at MacDonalds in Yellowknife, the very helpful servers always urge me to add a flavour shot. ‘It’s free! It’s free!’ I don’t complain - it’s sort of endearing that they worry about my ‘bitter’ coffee
