Ugh now I am sad. But a few years ago an old girlfriend (and whole human being in her own right) told me her kid had discovered a mixtape I'd made her in college and loved it and that will forever bring me great joy. I reproduced it here (with pics she'd taken!)

While I was away at college my sister taped over every single mixtape I was ever given-- even the silver and magenta painted tape from Kathy W that I treasured labeled "SPIDER MUSIC"-- and it'a still an EXTREMELY sore spot for me.

I do remember making one tape where I used an artist twice and then apologizing for it in the liner notes
