I look for the cheapest I can find and buy a few packs (since I'll use them up in just a few days). Unfortunately, I'm from a place famous for tomatoes, so I'm a bit of a tomato snob 😓😭

I make salad at least 5 days a week, sometimes twice a day…tomatoes are a must for me, so yeah, I feel those prices 😭

Yes! And now that I know which section to search in the bookstore, it's easy to browse for more (but hold off on buying unless it is unique or has more/new info because ¥¥¥😅).

Sure, there are differences between the cameras and lenses, but you can't go wrong either way. I went with Nikon because my first SLR was a Nikon, and I didn't want to replace all my lenses (or have to use an adaptor).

I have an iPhone 13 Pro. I still have months to pay for this one and won't replace it until it dies.

Canon is nice! I've heard from various sources that Canon and Nikon are basically the same at the end of the day.

Yeah, they do that! 🤣😂 But honestly, you can't go wrong with adding a UV filter for protection.

I have used lenses and lenses from my film SLR days that I use. Lenses can last years. The threading can wear out inside the lens (which I did to a kit lens). I shoot Nikon, but companies like Tamron make lenses for different cameras at a lower cost. I'm 1/2 Nikon, 1/2 Tamron lenses.

Well, I stopped using it because, at this point, the image quality from my phone pictures is the same or better than I get from that particular camera body. I've hung onto it and purchased a fantastic lens for it about a year before I stopped using it. I need to get it up and running again!

Oh, did you get any filters for your lens? A clear UV filter is excellent for protection, and a circular polarizer is another great option. If you haven't, I highly recommend at least a UV filter. It's much cheaper to replace a scratched filter than a scratched lens!

Yep, I've read that it's 3-5yrs, depending on how many shots you take. I use a DSLR and have a mirrorless from 11 years ago.
I wore out the shutter on my first film SLR body!

The length of its life will depend on how well you care for it and how much you shoot. Repairs may be possible.

Thanks...It's from a few years ago, and with life, I kind of fell out of practice 😓
