I actually went and revisited some of my favorite moments of Part 1 yesterday, the comprehensive chapter select is a godsend!
Mom talking about your premature birth and the scaring Milo parts were highlights for me. Discovering your powers and doing chores to help your family were also really fun! ☺️

I'll just never forget how most of my family was more worried about whether his cause of death was actually suicide or not, because they were afraid he was "going to hell" for it, they never even wondered why he did what he did, just kept talking about his soul being damned. It fucking disgusted me.

Maybe it's selfish, but I just wish I could have spent more time with him before he took his own life. I keep wondering if things would have been different if I was there at that moment, but I guess it's no use for that now. Anyway, sorry for the dumping.

He had schizophrenia, and he was such an incredible person, but unfortunately I live in the southeast and he lived in the northeast with most of my family, a bunch of super religious good-for-nothings who neglected his treatment, and I could only do so much from here, except when I managed to visit.

And also that I interpret it differently from what's probably intended by the devs, but I don't really mind, to me it's not about breakup, but a story about fighting and making peace with your inner demons, told beautifully through a super stylish and fast-paced game that made me cry more than once.

I brought out the fancy headphones for the game, so everything was extra crisp (also, Lewis' voice 🥰)
And oh my goodness, the sound design of it all is so fucking good???
This is definitely one of those experiences you have to try to go through with a good pair of headphones.
