Maybe not something so obviously likely to lead to heavy heavy sanction. The stupidity, messing with an aircraft given everything historically has happened. On an RAF base. WTAF did they think would happen. Idiots.

Not going to be able to do much now are they. Stupid protest given what and where they attacked leading to predictable consequences.
July 5, 2025 at 12:10 PM
Again the lack of thinking. Attacking an aircraft was of idiotic proportions. Add in UK owned aircraft and this was only ever going one way.
July 5, 2025 at 12:08 PM
The aircraft are also used for commercial leasing.
July 5, 2025 at 12:06 PM
Add breaking and entering on top. This was stupid protest given the context of aircraft, military base and UK property. No surprise at all the book has been thrown at them.
July 5, 2025 at 12:03 PM
You started the name calling. So would you and family get on a flight for a family holiday knowing that some random had been messing about with a machine they knew absolutely nothing about. Given aircraft are covered in sensors designed to help keep them in the air.
July 5, 2025 at 11:59 AM
The banning is a direct consequence of stupid protest. Whine all you want. The health and safety around aircraft is enormous. Add in a UK military base and UK assets. This was only ever going one way.
July 5, 2025 at 11:53 AM
'Only' the aircraft will have had to have been checked to ensure paint hadn't got into any sensors particularly ones related to safety or the engines. There's protest and then there's stupid protest. Planes have crashed due to sensors not operating correctly. Air France in Brazil comes to mind.
July 5, 2025 at 11:34 AM
🤣🤣🤣right to protest does not mean I get to cause criminal damage. You absolute complete moron. Counter productive stupid and shows a complete lack of brains.
July 5, 2025 at 11:28 AM
Right of protest does not mean you get to break into government property and damage literal UK assets.

I’d add that I’d also look at getting 6000 CL 30 RAM That’ll help fps for gaming or better yet 6000 CL 26/28 faster RAM as that can get near the effect of 7800/8000 GHz RAM. On non X3D CPUs that can make a big difference.

I’d maybe wait on the GPU and use the IGPU in the 7600 until the 9060/9060XT comes out not going to be that far away. FSR4 is really really good and it’s not going to run on older AMD cards.

looks like it🤷
March 27, 2025 at 3:20 PM
If we're going there then, quit whining like a child🤷
March 26, 2025 at 11:51 AM
it's ancient and out of date. Don't use it. Also don't download the SteamDeck restore image it likely won't work well with a lot of H/W. Valve roll their own kernel.
March 26, 2025 at 7:54 AM
so no different to Valve and the licenced H/W vendors who will offer support for licenced SteamOS devices? That's what people want.
March 26, 2025 at 7:51 AM
Anyone who is curious enough and gets frustrated with the guard rails/lack of desktop functionality on SteamOS will have the comfort level of having used a Linux based OS IF they start to experiment. SteamOS is the gateway drug🤣🤣
March 26, 2025 at 7:47 AM
and so what? Most people don't want to learn Linux🤷 Even with Bazzite breakages on update do happen like other rolling releases. SteamOS is a licencable product which means the H/W vendor and Valve are supporting it. Not the best efforts of the Bazzite crew, GE etc.

? did you install the desktop version or the 'SteamOS' version. I assume you're an experienced Linux user that likes Gnome for some reason and ignored the standard desktop?
March 24, 2025 at 7:29 AM
think you're out of luck there Adobe are allergic to the OS. Black Magic Resolve works though as does Audacity.
March 24, 2025 at 7:25 AM
Basically this, works on anything running AMD and more recent versions are in beta for NVidia youtu.be/f45hDPOrzFI?...

There are several 'console' like gaming variations of Linux based on SteamOS that are dirt simple to use. More so than desktop Windows or Linux.
March 23, 2025 at 10:24 PM
There are titles that run more easily in Linux than they do on Windows. Though it's old an example is GTA4. Shader stutter being the worst culprit. Elden Ring had huge stutter on Windows. Doesn't exist on Linux. Several titles Linux is just faster on AMD H/W. SteamOS/Bazzite take care of that.
