That said, I remain appalled that he has repeatedly failed to meet the moment in resisting the GOP's ever-expanding fascism. I believe he is not providing the leadership urgently needed right now and should vacate the leadership role. My post was shared in a hasty, angry moment. Sorry again, Chuck.

Several of you promptly pilloried me for forgetting that he has made repeated efforts to make the files public - credit where credit is due. I have voted for Schumer in the past, and in all fairness, he generally gets more right than he gets wrong.
