They’ve done such a great job with all of those reissues. Beautiful! I wonder why they didn’t do the first album?

Lisa Loeb working the bass?

Yes sir. Exactly. I want the Charlie & Larry Years live box more than anything. I want the Fall 2018 / Fall 2019 box. I want the RATW soundboard box.

Love to you, Kat. I will find myself a copy of this. I can tell Pat was my kind of music lover. 💙💙✨✨

Hmmm. Just realizing I’ve never heard that one live. Damn. 37 years of shows…

Either way, one of his very best verses. Ever.

OK. You scared me! But I am with you. Was listening to him a few days ago. Really hope he’s getting well. ✌️✨

Please record the album for which this would be the appropriate LP cover. Glide, Poltergeist, whatever… I just need to hear it. ✌️✨✨

EB is definitely the one that I still occasionally give a spin. I’m relieved that you left it out of your top 5 today. 😅

The first three Dylan albums I purchased when they were the latest release were Empire Burlesque, Knocked Out Loaded & Down in the Groove. So Oh Mercy will forever be jaw-dropping to me. The first one I could love without desperate effort. (Despite revisionist history, those three are still poor.)

Well done!

I honestly think it might be as simple as Paul is there on bass when he doesn’t have Punch Brothers gigs. (I have never heard a Punch Brothers song.)

I stood in line to buy lunch & talked with Michael Anthony & a random roadie. Later realized the random roadie was Van Halen singer Gary Cherone.

I accidentally bumped into Bob Dylan in an Atlanta parking lot. He was wearing the blonde wig & a bathrobe. But it was after his show, so not so random.

Seconded.

Hi! Ah, so you didn’t know Phred, I guess. He managed Blacksburg for about 10 years before moving to Chapel Hill when that store opened. Many wonderful stories and memories from my Rec Ex days, despite the hilariously tiny paychecks. ✌️

The Blacksburg store. The house that Phred built. (I worked at the Chapel Hill store 93-98.)
