Of course, it goes both ways; I never said it didn’t. All cultures share ideas, it’s the pointless nationalism of his statement I take issue with. Obviously some US films are influenced by Italian films (eg Tarantino’s), but Re: Fulci’s quote you can easily show the same in the other direction.

The point is: Italian horror in the 70s and 80s was famous for having a lot of derivatives or homages to US horror, and even notable exceptions like Argento, Bava, and Fulci were clearly influenced by the US, or had direct ties to US films, so for Fulci to make a point like that is silly.

Eh, he went on to (sort of) direct another so wasn’t that unhappy. The violent, shambling zombie film was popularised by Romero; Zombi was Argento’s edit of Romero’s film; and the writer for Zombi 2 cites 3 American horrors as inspiration. I love Fulci’s work, but he clearly benefited from US films

Really liked the film, but the big reveal at the end was a bit rushed / underwhelming.

Kind of ironic given his film Zombi 2 was an unofficial sequel to Romero’s Dawn of the Dead

I still can’t decide if I like Ulcerate or not. Think I have to be in a very specific mood to listen to them

Got to see them live at a small venue where they performed some of that album. Fantastic show

Celeste have one of the best live shows I’ve seen. Totally in the dark, smoke machines, wearing only these red headlamps. Was such an awesome visual, like watching a gig played by Terminators

Was it delivered by this guy: www.digitalspy.com/tech/a774316...
This guy accidentally filmed his holiday in selfie mode
Watch, laugh, and enjoy.

I’ve had a number of those where it’s just a picture of the delivery person’s hand holding the box they supposedly delivered.

Just picturing fact checkers sitting at their desk and that news comes to them to fact check, they look up from their screen and Zuckerberg is in the corner of the room like
a bald man in a suit and white shirt is sitting in a chair with his fist in the air .

They’ve had a pretty fantastic run from then on to be fair … as long as you pretend Catharsis and that single Civil Unrest don’t exist.
Arrows in Words From The Sky is one of my favourite Machine Head songs. Got such a cool, dark vibe, like Sail Into the Black.

Still my favourite Machine Head album. Imperium is one of the best openers to an album ever

To be fair, you could’ve picked any point in Cult of Luna’s discography and it would’ve worked. Two more:
Anathema - We’re Here Because We’re Here; Weather Systems; Distant Satellites
Thrice - Artist in the Ambulance; Vheissu; Alchemy Index
