A student cheated in an exam by using AI and not for the first time. This really fucks me up because I want to trust my students. They can use AI to get feedback on their homework but I hate it when they try to fool me. I know I should not worry about this shit but sometimes it's hard.

Waiting for my daughter to finish her dance class I often see a woman with a little boy of 3 or 4. She always leaves him alone with her phone so she can chat to some mums. Maybe a future student without attention span? Not the way to keep your mind limber. Intervention needed?

Yesterday one of my students told me that teachers should not complain about students because without them we would not have our jobs. I am not sure about this. I think students need honest feedback but maybe we should not turn their problems into ours? Let's not get carried away. #teachers #dudeism
