Upping this again because this is relevant day by day with anti trans legislation. All interlinked. Crips and sickies & chronic illness folks need to use our knowhow for trans folks too.
🧵Ableism is MORE than discrimination against disabled folks. It is systems which valourise hierarchies of ability, agency, standardisation and normalisation. It is what makes even the idea of kyriarchy possible - all the *archs are the most able, strongest most powerful. That's the justification.
